yikes, we discoved that we have carpet beetle larvae around our home. the pesky critters are small and harmless to us but can destroy clothes, rugs, carpet and feed on anything from lintballs behind furniture to grains. spent the last week going through every nook and deep cleaning. two good things out of this- we have added some much needed love to kids rooms and we are ready for a garage sale!
we spent the a recent sunday in our old stomping grounds, golden gate park. here, we are at the beautiful japanese tea garden. then we played near the fountains in front of the museums, rented a bike for a short ride (it was a workout!) and ate from food trucks. capped it off with a quick hello to uncle david and auntie amina and ocean beach. great day!
we still hit our little park if we get home early enough before dinner. someone is trying to show off his pecs! and nyla strikes her jazz pose whenever possible.
bobby was chocking on a snack on the way to pick up moo from school one day, then the chocking resolved itself. :(
of school for both kids. nyla loves having pe everyday, and is excited about french, art, and music classes. bobby loves riding cars at his new preschool. he spends as much time as possible in a vehicle going back and forth across a little bridge. he also enjoys snack time and liked circle time one out of two days. mommy is enjoying the new routine as well!

this is what nyla started calling the monterey aquarium. so cute! bobby calls every aquarium monterey aquarium. these kids! another great day trip.
