Thanksgiving dinner in Richland, MO

First thing after driving out to Sally and Steve Belshe's ranch kids wanted to check out the horses. They were very friendly. They even had a couple of short ponies! Cute. Nyla enjoyed a mostly potato (sweet and mashed) lunch with two rolls and pumpkin pie. Bobby ate a roll. Then they played played played. They got on pretty well with third cousins Ben and Sam Belshe. Bobby and Sam got into a little mischief in the leaves and firewood, Belsh tried to edicate nyla and ben on propane safety, they all played chase and hide and seek, and then Belshe took them to the barn to sit on tractors. The grown ups had fun visiting with each other as well. A great thanksgiving afternoon.

The farm

We spent the day before thanksgiving riding around the farm on gdad's new mule and the gator looking at cows and other farmy stuff. Kids loved driving and Nyla got quite good! We also rowed out onto the little lake and fed the fish. Fun times.

And gets a medal! Daddy took him to a pick up game put on by Big Kicks, which is the same Group that puts on Nyla's soccer class and Bob said he liked it but also didn't like it. Haha. Well he looks cute anyway. And no diaper!!

So now she has swim, soccer, origami /puppet making, dance class, Spanish on top of regular school which already includes art, French, and music classes. Next is piano and or violin lessons. So busy for a 5 yr old but she is loving it and thriving. Proud of my Moo!

Caught a spider with the critter gun. Took it safely outside. You gotta find ways to have fun on a rainy day.
