nyla and I put some pinto beans in a plastic cup with a damp paper towel after soaking them overnight to germinate them. it has been about four days, and we found these today! nearly all of them are sprouting. fun!

ice cream break
we had a play date with bella today, and her brother jonah came along. bobby had his first experience with the ice cream truck and we got an ice cream sandwich to share.

ice water
the kids asked for ice water then started saying they were cold, so they put on gloves, got a blanket and cuddled up.
